Yeah let's sign him he'd be great I don't think he'll cost much (£10m minimum) or want much per week, well within our budget ! We could sign him on the same day another poster wants us to sign Douglas !
Maybe we should get AM.EX to sponsor us That was a joke flower glad you picked it ! The owners have repeatedly said we won't be signing players for millions and millions of pounds haven't they ? Is it just me that's read/heard this ? So why are some on here having dreams of £10m players ? Why would Blackburn sell a player they signed for £8m that's in contract that scored a s*** load of goals last year for the same fee ?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Jordan Rhodes (recommended)' by Moose i thought b/burn last year offered him something like 30k a week to sign thus i would assume he would want more to move; would love to know what he earns and if its around 20k then brilliant, i think the stumbling block is the fee and wages combined as this over 4 years even at 20k a week would still be about 12/14m. alot of cash but as pointed out would be worth it if he scores the goals to keep us up; this would be a gamble and as much as i would love him in the team i dont think we should take as think there are good enough strikers out that that coudl get teh goals and cost less such as odemwingie or austin

There is no way we will spend millions and millions on a player. Cannot see us going over £3-£4m tops to be honest. All these threads about Ince and Rhodes and Austin etc are just pipe dreams.

Rhodes isn't gettable. He cost Blackburn 8 million and they would definately try to profit on him.

Zaha was sold for 10 rising to 15 , but the transfer was reported as 15!! I'm sure Rhodes is probably the same, and I would imagine Blackburn are in need of funds they have a huge wage bill.
