But Liverpool value Benteke at a minimum £30m and, at present, are unwilling to lower their valuation. That's actually not a bad idea. Isn't the Welsh number two from Liverpool? Not sure WH would want to be a back up, but at a club like Liverpool it's proably easier to compromise.

It would be a poor signing imo. He's an immobile lump at best.. c £30 million? We'd be lucky to get half that in resale. Shameful waste of cash, IF we do it.
