Fifa and the poppy saga

I'm sure millions of people who wear a poppy will be shocked to hear they are walking around with a political symbol on their lapel. And how come England and Wales get a combined fine of £35k and Ireland, whose team commemorated the Easter Rising (which was a political act), are fined just £4k?

Because ironically with FIFA it's all about politics Make monkey noises chant racist slogans and throw missiles and you're all good. Well as long as you are from central/eastern Europe Commemorate the war dead. Not acceptable

Arguably the fact we still require the British Legion displays just how much our governments care about 'the troops they laude as hero's and icons'. In truth, the government doesn't give a f**k about any single one of us.
