You can be arrested for swearing. Suppose I could add that to help the spin of those statistical facts. Everyone acknowledges crime happens at the event. Some of us are just a bit more aware of the crimes that happen at other events (that seem to draw less attention). Given the size of the event I think things could be a whole lot different. Anyway whats your favourite tea? Lapsang I challenge someone to find me a similar example in recent times.

I would rather spend the weekend in solitary confinement than attend the Notting Hill 'carnival'.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Some of the whataboutery on this thread is top notch. I genuinely mean it.... We're discussing the criminal activity at NHC... And so far people have mentioned... Orange order March Cricket Football fans abroad. The question is...30 injured cops...nearly 1000 arrests... At what point do we consider banning it for a year or two? Is there a number...is it 40 injured cops, maybe 50? Is it 2000 arrests? Or do we pretend there isn't a problem for sake of harmony?

My challenge has yet to be met. Well I've already given you two examples but here's another: The carnival atmosphere of the early stages of Euro 2016 was marred by over 1000 arrests. Let's ban it.
