Does anyone think this could be whats needed and a breath of fresh air ? We our playing terrible football to watch we have an ageing manager and some players .We are not playing progressive football and basically treading water.I know be careful what you wish for but hopefully someone or consortium will take a punt and actually have a plan and invest ..

What appears to be going on is a massive fall out at Boardroom level, leading to potentially no signings, loan signings or
otherwise this window, until sale of Textor's holding.
Thank goodness for the three promoted clubs which may just all go back down again and save us from a similar fate, until hopefully, new substantial investment is made.

Considering that we are part of a consortium, albeit in relative terms a small one, it does seem a tad bizarre that the subject of the upcoming vote (allegedly) wasn't even discussed among the shareholders prior to the event.

Maybe SP in his minds eye, looked at the individuals involved (Shareholders) & thought, well having all these transfer opportunities between inter related clubs isn't a good thing for Palace, so he made up his mind that he would vote no, he ascertained that H & B would trust his view so that makes 3 votes against 1

I wonder if he did it to actually trigger a reaction. Also its the right thing from a football perspective. The practice of transfers between related clubs is one that favours bigger clubs. How can you be certain of the true value of the players?

In any normal company that would be a sacking offence

I suppose a lot depends upon what was the norm as regards this kind of situation, presumably correspondence from the PL gets shared regularly amongst the directors ? of course its difficult to know from the outside the exact dynamic in the boardroom, but it does seem strange that something as potentially important as this wasnt at least discussed / voted on.

Trust us to have a falling out just when we need funds. We have the most complicated and incoherent ownership in the league. This is incompetence at its best.

Who thought, that when Parish welcomed that Americans on board that it would all end in tears? Too many egos at work.

Might be the best thing to happen to us in recent years ? Fresh input and proper strategy in place

Yes, well put, nobody is in charge, Parish thinks he is, but he most certainly isn't, this why every decision takes so long to make, i hope Harris or Blitzer buy out Textor, then we will know who is making the decisions, right or wrong,

If Harris or Blitzer (or a joint effort) buys out Textor, then surely the likelihood is that Steve Parish will remain at the club as minority shareholder, the guy in charge for day to day affairs & the one they look to for local guidance when it comes to making important decisions.

Or have I misunderstood something ?
