Was plain Horatio Bonkers until I received my commission. Got as far as Captain before leaving the forces. No gongs to add letters after my name though.

I attended Eton with a Pongo Bonkers who caught a packet with the 16th Carshalton Lancers at the Battle of Iwelumo and was briefly engaged to Lady Evadne Bonkers although I called it off after I discovered she had been tipping the velvet with Dame Edith Sponge's daughter Lady Wynona.

No, one of the Dorset Bonkers. Of course Christchurch used to be in Hampshire so I would have been one of the Hampshire Bonkers but now that it’s in Dorset I’m not. Had to leave the forces due to a misunderstanding regarding the Mess fund. Since when I’ve been in a special hospital.

The Dorset bonkers by jove !!! - I served in the Punjab with the Queens where I shared a billet with a 'Fruity' Bonkers from Dorset, he had a batman called Private Warnock, a bluff Yorkshire type who was always drunk and popping into town for a bit of Gentlemans Relish with a 83 year old Mehm Sahb from Inverness, Lady Clarissa Salako who was as deaf as a post but had a huge sexual appetite Poor old Fruity would be left to iron his own dress uniform for our nightly game of whiff whaff which wasnt easy given his his having lost an arm fighting the Boers at the Battle of Winehouse Edited by The Sash (17 Mar 2010 1:04pm)
