This has just gone at auction (sorry photo will not copy) 1920/21 Crystal Palace, a gold medal awarded to A. Wood of Crystal Palace for winning the Football League Division 3, Southern Section. This was the 1st season in existence for the 3rd Division, and as such Crystal Palace were founder members. Alan Wood was born in Walsall, Crystal Palace signed him from Talbot Stead in 1919, and sold to Coventry City in 1922.. Estimate was £1000-£1250 Went for
