What an inspiration to see a young kid come from absolutely nowhere, and through sheer desire and will, create something truely magical. I for one, will forever be indebted to him for the absolute joy he gave me every week for 6 years following the Palace. Of course there were other major factors for our huge success, but having been lucky enough to watch him and the lads in training quite a bit, his infectious enthusiasm played a massive part in pulling the whole club up to heights it could never ever imagine.

Completely agree with Bubbs - he was a fantastic player for us and no matter what happened later that can't be erased.
