one swallow doesnt make a summer.

well done to him today tho...we could still do better.

How could he do better than score the winning goal.

There is no pleasing some people.

Read the post you quoted. Braunie didn't say HE could do better, he said WE could. And we can.

Cucking it's probably for the best we let the oneupsmanship idiots to their little games.

Must keep his mouth shut though, very lucky to have been playing today. Pay back time with the goal.

Amount of negativity around puncheon, I hope people can start seeing his worth. 3 points.

You are kidding right?

Last week Jason Puncheon missed a penalty. The distance by which he missed is irrelevant.

This week he produced a bit of quality from a terrible game and scored the winner. Now we have a decent player who's confidence has been restored. All good IMO as he's going to be important to us on the run in.

Didn't post anything negative about the penalty but if he had scored we could be in a different position now and we need to grab every opportunity we are offered when it comes to gaining points.
Well done today but one goal does not make him a great player and I would like to see a bit more from him.
However Pulis is the expert and he sees potential so hopefully he will get the best from the player?

this is what i said over on twitter - hindsight is a great thing, but we could have had 6 points from last two games and be sitting mid table - haha

I havent got a problem with him or his first touch but his body language always looks like he doesn't want to be here and can't be arsed.

To be fair he did cry after the game today, maybe he just has a bad way of showing that he cares?

I noticed this on motd just goes to show the pressure on these guys week in week out I think we all forget that. I've not been he's biggest fan this season but I'm glad for him that he got the goal and deserves he's moment of glory lets hope he keeps it up

The thing is no one doubts that on his day Puncheon is a good player, its simply that those days are few and far between and are mainly interspersed with dross, arrogance and petulance. Its no coincidence that he's never settled anywhere and if you combine his on field performances with his off field demeanour and rumours within the club of how others see him, he's just not worth the gamble of shelling out £2m or so for.

I'm not kidding, he missed a penalty, so what. for 3 or 4 games he has been easily our most threatening player, and when he isn't, he is no worse then other players. Really don't get the amount of stick he gets. There were games under holloway where he was poor, those days are long gone.

He's a better quality of player than we've had at Palace for a long time. He also strikes me as an honest lad and everyone who knows him seems to have time for him. He's got my vote.
