When he played against us this year he was a different class. Offers hight for headers, that Spanish build up play and an eye for goal which he showed by getting a goal. He didn't have the greatest year last time but was drastically over shadowed by Bony. If we can get him for around the £5m then it could be a great bit of business. Think over clubs will be in for him though and as TP says we will be the last on the list of clubs he wants to join. Quality player and as we saw at Selhurst last season he is a real handful in the last third of the pitch. As for him not wanting to come to us i wouldn't look too much into this, remember he went to Swansea and at the time they were trying to find their feet in the Premiership and were complete unknowns really. Nothing would surprise me in football to be honest...

Who are you expecting us to sign, Ronaldo, Messi?? Get a grip, we're Crystal Palace, we are not yet an ESTABLISHED Premier League team and only two seasons ago we're expecting a scrap to stay in the Championship. Too many people think just because we've had a season in the Prem we have this right now to go and buy who we want and getting a bit above themselves. CANNOT see it happening, purely because he is too good for us, but would be over the f***ing moon
