Tony Pulis: Crystal Palace fans were wonderful - [Link] Facebook - [Link] Have to agree, watching at home on Sky all you could hear the whole game were the Palace fans, Gary Neville remarked on it a couple of times, even when Arsenal had just scored there was one verse from the Gooners then it reverted to them being out-sung. Very proud of you all. Pulis is right, with that kind of support we give ourselves an extra couple points. I also watched WBA vs Liverpool and the place was like a morgue about 85% of the time

The fans were unbelievable all game. Arsenal fans should take a leaf out of their book. Hats off, indeed, yet again.

"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!" |

Funny that. I don't think we were even anything special today. Says more about the premier league support than it says about us.
I'm tough. I'm ambitious. I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a bitch, I'm OK with that. |

helped significantly by the safe standing areas they have in Germany, if only we had them in the premier league

I sat in the Arsenal end today thanks to a good mate of mine who is arsenal offering me a ticket. I sat just to the left of the palace fans behind the goal. Literally 2 yards away. It was great to feel so close to the away fans, but yet so far. In fact when Jerome's header was saved I got some abuse from the palace lads; if only they knew my head was in my hands because of how good a chance that was... The arsenal fans I was with all commented on how they'd have rather been in the palace end. In their defence, the arsenal stewards were intent on telling the home fans to sit down and be quiet. Despite their big posh ground and world class players; there was an obvious hint of envy from the arsenal fans towards the palace fans... Hats off to you lads.

Was sat in the area behind the goal where our fans were, joined in a couple of times with the songs. All the Scandinavians around us spent more time watching and taking photos of our fans than watching the game. Edited by checksaccepted (02 Feb 2014 10.01pm)

It sounds to me like an excuse for Pulis to lay a little bit of blame in order to be able to make the necessary changes next game. We all know Ledley, Ince and (possibly) Dann will all start against the Baggies and I think it is his way of justifying dropping certain players........which is all fine by me!
