he made a great overlapping run in the first half but bolasie did his own thing and wasted the ball. He wasnt intimidated and neither was chamakh. Could have done with Williams in the middle and Gayle upfront. A bit of pace and somebody who can run with the ball. Wasted so much energy chasing the ball and then when winning it not keeping it. It was inevitable that they would take advantage. Puncheon was easily closed out and they worked out he is all left foot.

Gotta say I thought too many players had bad days today. Even DD and Gabs made some bad mistakes. For me, Chamakh was excellent first half and KG was solid all game. All the others were below par, with Jerome particularly bad.

I really don't understand why Moxey was dropped. He's a lot better going forward, shooting and crossing, and has a great sliding tackle on him. Only weakness if positioning but he always seems to make up for it

Considering the strength of the Gunners' team, I thought Palace defended really well. Credit to all the back four and the tough-tackling midfielders. IMO, Gabiddon and Delaney don't get the credit they deserve. Giroud and Podolski scarcely got a look-in

Parr was excellent and im sick of people comparing him to moxey he defended better against the likes of ozil and cazorla than moxey did against livermore and elmohamody .

Nice interview at TV2 (biggest channel in Norway) after the game. The commentators rated Parr! ...... like that he came back that soon (and strong) after the injury against Wigan!

Did you see the Hull game?! Moxey made two errors that should of cost us! One for his awful positioning from a throw in whereby El-Ahomaddy has acres of space running into our area, and just before where he had the ball and passed it to a Hull player directly in front of him. Terrible play. I can see exactly why he was dropped.
