As you are coming down the M1. Park at Watford Junction. There are direct trains at 52 minutes past the hour & it takes an hour to Selhurst/Thornton Heath. Train back from Selhurst at 17.09. It would take more than an hour to drive from Watford to Palace and by train is an easy way in & out without the hastle.

Or you could leave your car at home and do the above but get the Watford connection to BNS. That's only another hour.

Get there early so you can park on street not far from the ground, on the north side of it. If I were you i'd be looking for quick access to Grange Road after the game.

Then nail it to Streatham, cut across to Tooting, into Hammersmith and down the M4 to the M25.

This is the best option, Grange road Se25 St Marys road Se35 then as Stuk says over the top and down via Streatham toward motorway back home, not worth leaving 10 early tho say 5 mins and you'll be fine to get away from these roads.
Dont forget satnav

It always amuses me when away fans post on here saying they come in peace - a strange visitor from a distant land! I would hardly expect fans to come in hostility, unless they support Millwall but that goes without saying.

in which case they wouldn't be on here, what with the inability to read or write.
