But I accept that Noades divides opinions amongst our supporters.

Yes, successful period however how good could we have been without the asset stripping then selling to a halfwit?

I dont want to remember him at all. He had his self interest in the front of his mind and in his pocket.

I recall that CPFC were 'On their knees' when Noades took over with home gates under 6,000 and no money in the kitty.We went into the top division, to an FA Cup Final to winning the Zenith Data Systems cup etc etc.Happy days !

And Ron lined his already bulging pockets, syphoned off cash for the good of his golf club then happily took the rent money from us, financially crippling us yet again.

A serious allegation and I have NO idea if this is accurate or just some Anti-Noades scurrilous accusations.
All I will say is that I certainly don't recall CPFC going into Administration whilst he was at the helm and of course he did take over the club when it was at rock-bottom financially.

As I mentioned earlier Noades certainly divides opinions amongst our supporters !
