I agree - give him a chance.
He has what it takes but you don't just become a good premier league player overnight.
These few games with us will make him and his Dad realise that another season with the likes of us will stand him in good stead - otherwsie a big club could well take him and leave him kicking his heels in the reserves - good pay but no football.
If we can atay up then he should stick with us and he will learn his trade and help us at the same time.

No, for once I am with the Impatient Brigade. The reason you pay a hefty premium [£2m + wages for a 6 month loan, if we stay up] is to get a player good enough to hit the ground running from the word go. Had we wanted somebody who needs time to settle and adjust to the better football, we would have bought one of the younger Turks from the lower leagues or trawled the Arsenal Academy etc. for talent. Time is not a luxury we have on our side.

What does whether we stay up or not have to do with a loan of a player till the end of the season? And £2 mill - are you sure?

I'd agree that he's flattered to deceive at the moment...I'd also like him to shut up in teh press and concentrate on his game.

Having said that I think this is probably the best thing that could have happened for us in that he hasnt hit the ground blazing goals etc which wold definately have seen him move on in the summer. Instead, if he has a solid but unspectacular remainder of the season and he beds in as well with the squad and the fans the liklihood of him staying would be a greater...which in the long term I think would benefit both parties.

Currently looks lightweight, great talent but not yet able to cope physically. To be honest I think he needs a full season in the Prem to be really ready for it.

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

Ince was lauded before he finally put pen to paper and of all the 'Transfer Window' signings he was the one who really excited the supporters but alas as yet he has not lived up to expectations. But of course he has only played in 3 games and scored on his debut ! Don't write him off just yet !

Strangely enough very similar ince played 100 and scored 31 goals and gayle played 20 for 6 goals in probably a weaker side than ince

To be fair to Ince, He played very well against West Brom, Ok against M.United and against Swansea he was playing very deep for 45 minutes, Swansea had possession for 82% of those minutes and we were awful. How the hell he can be judge on that is beyond me. He needs to bulk out for definite but he does not lack work ethic. Needs to concentrate fully on his game and stay away from the press especially before games.

This site never ceases to amaze me. 2 months ago and everyones singing his praises, even claiming he's better than Wilf. Now, after SCORING on his DEBUT with a clever finish and a great performance and speaking to the press who will clearly be interested in him more than anyone else in the team as he's one of the best up coming talents in the country, he needs to "STFU" and he's "all hype". Ffs give the lad a break, do your jobs as supporters and get behind the team!

I understand where you are coming from.
And of course it should not be forgotten that Ince is playing in a relegation threatened team.

Although what he is allegedly being paid would make you hope that he would be fantastic right from the off, it is still a gamble as you don’t know for sure that any player will fit into a team. I think he showed against West Brom that in the right position, he has real potential.

Assuming he wont be staying at Palace he should be looking at a team like Everton or Southampton, although I’m not sure either of them would pay him what he and his father feel that he is worth.

What is he allegedly being paid? For a loan deal we can't pay more than what he was on at Blackpool, which I can't imagine was that much given their finances.

I don't understand what the fuss is. People had similar reservations about Puncheon, people always have and always will jump to judge far too quickly. Ince admitted after the first game that he needs to bulk up a bit, which obviously won't happen overnight.

That is one of Bolasie's strengths and I always think he looks his best when he uses his body more.

It is odd how much he is quoted in the press, but I imagine that's them seeking him out. I have complete faith in Pulis stepping in if he feels it is too much.
