Can anyone please explain what his role was today,he seemed to be playing further forward so to help Murray, which he didn't do,he wasn't a DM,i just cant work out why he was on the pitch,Puncheon looked equally lost.We just cannot have any passengers for the run in.we all know you need players who are up for a battle in our position but do we know who those players are?.

Your blind mate Ledley was Palaces best player today.

Yes he was playing as the most advanced central midfielder. I thought Ince did well in that role against West Brom. Ledley offers a more physical presence but I'd have thought Ince would have offered more of a goal threat.

We played a 4-5-1 formation with Ledley being an advanced midfielder. Pulis realised that leaving one striker up top to pressure the opposing defence does not work (Swansea 1st half) and so wanted another player up there with Murray. I thought he did well in that role considering nobody has the ability to create chances.

He played much further back than Chamakh usually does - which is no-man's land. Either he needs to push forward and play as a second striker or stay back to put in a shift in a midfield three, but he doesn't have the chance to affect the game playing where he does.

He was quality today. Should start in KG's role, he is KG but not fat, and not rubbish on the ball. He looked dangerous driving forward too

Ledley looks far better when we are chasing the game as does Yannick. When stifled by TP's tactics both look poor, almost as if they are having to think too much and as everyone knows football is much better when it is instinctive and you don't have to think too much about it. Ledley is not accustomed to letting the opposition have the ball and playing the game on the back foot.

Your blind mate Ledley was Palaces best player today. I didn't say he played badly, just that he seemed unsure of his role on the pitch.
