So your the manager for next season we stay up £60 mill in the bank, most agree a striker is what is needed agreed so far ?

We need say 5 strikers for the squad, is FFS in your plans ? or do you sign CJ on a perm try to sign Ince on a perm ? keep Gayle and yes of course keep Cham,

I've had rows on here and with my fellow Palace comrades in person over this now we have had chance to see Glenn back in action.... Come on look at yourselves in the eye in the mirror before answering and tell me he would be in your plans for next season (in Prem).

Not for me, even if as people keep harping on about the service improving from the wings, (isn't that happening now) who would you drop to play him ? Cham ? CJ ? the new £12 mill signing we make this summer ?

Please give me your answers with your overall plan how you would use him, dont bother with FFS rose tinted glasses and say 30 goals last season or its glenn murray etc etc back your answers with logic.

Yes i'd keep ffs he is a goalscorer and with a good pre season under he's belt i think we'll see the real Murray next season.

I'm pretty sure we all mostly agree that the main thing missing is a goal scorer. Or two. For me whilst FFS is a Palace legend I don't think it's him. I reckon if we stay up TP will buy a few players and he will be sold.

I'm ready to duck the incoming flack...

For me the jury is out. He needs a run in the team before an informed decision about his future can be made and we are not in a position to pick anyone other than the best team to gain a result at the moment. That is not always going to be Glen Murray.

Murray has done ok

Too soon to say whether he's good enough or not. After his first season people were questioning his ability in th Championship, making a call now would be premature

Either way we will need another striker.

I'd keep Murray, personally I think he hasn't had enough opportunities to get going this season and in a fresh season we will/would see whether he can make a difference.

Well you say we need 5 strikers.

Send Jerome back, Wilbraham will be offloaded.

Chamakh, Gayle and Murray will be kept and naturally we will add 2 more - if we can even afford that. The logic here is, we can't afford to buy a whole new strike force, so we will add to what we have rather than starting from scratch.

Also, he will be used and I think we need to give him a full pre-season to see if he can make it at this level. I can't see a benefit of getting rid of him.

Totally agree with this. Makes no sense to get rid of him, I'm sure we will see him next season.

I agree with a lot of what you say. With regard to Murray's future I don't think we can decide this season. We have to see how he develops next season be it in The Premiership or The Championship. I also think next season we will have to take a long look at Gayle. Does he really have the makings of a Premiership player or can he do no better than be an average player in The Championship. Yes I think we probably will have to buy an additional two strikers especially if we stay up because we have got to have the depth.

Spot on as I would give Murry another season to prove himself as well as Gayle too. BUT we do need players who can finish.

But don't you think TP will try to keep Jerome as he likes him, after all he had him at Stoke and seems high on the pecking list at SE25 even when cham is in the team.

Not sure why you are dismissing him so readily, fully understand its your opinion but surely we have to look at it from the point of view of the guy making the decisions ie TP, or maybe your thinking Stoke will take him back ? and as he is a out and out front man same as GM then ermmmmmmm, trouble is there is no room for sentiment in Football, cant really give people runs in teams to see if there good enough, every game is to important.

I think some tough decisions will have to be made this summer, Stoke not realsing Jerome would actually make things easier but I for one would def keep him even as a impact sub.
