Despite what people say about him, that man has a certain class about him. He apparently went into the Palace dressing room after the game to congratulate the team on their victory. His post-match conference was honest and said that Palace wanted it more. After the game at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season he called the Palace fans "fantastic, fantastic, fantastic". Thoroughly decent chap who recognises Palace as a special club.

Yeah I like him, didn't like it when the fans were screaming at him when he went over to the ball boy.

I think he's shown us a lot of respect, particularly the fans and Pulis. I can't find the quote, but there's one somewhere about him managing us, albeit a joke.

I know people love him or hate him, but consider me in the former group.

Mourinho does have a soft spot for us. Remembers his first time at Selhurst in 2004, and has apparantly warmed to us since. He watched the play off final against Watford, wants Pulis to win the Manager of the Year, and said that we have some of the best fans in the country.

I've always liked him personally. There will always be controversy surrounding every success and he is no different. Very successful manager (it can't be denied) with a great record and an even better footballing passion.

It's true he's mentioned us a couple of times and has always been complimentary, but where did you get the stuff about him warming to us after 2004, watching the playoff final and wanting Pulis to get manager of the year? I haven't seen that anywhere.

I don't particularly like him but he did clap us as he went off on Sat, not many managers clap the oppo fans.

Rumours are he only went back to Chelsea as a step on the ladder up to managing Palace.

Yes, he is clever and probably have a soft spot for us. At Villa he moaned about ref Foy, but did not mention the pr...ck Mason this time. What he did with the ball boy was both charming + congratulated our team and praised our effort and horrendous. How could he know what Jerome/Puncheon told the ball boys?

Agreed. A very clever man who can play the media exactly how he wants to suit his own agenda. A great personality and manger to have in the English game, but as for anything he says in front of the camera or in a newspaper - take it with a pinch of salt.
