If tony keeps us up, will he get hero/legend status even above Steve coppell? What do you reckon? I say he will.

Too early really. He needs to be here for four or five successful seasons to put up there in 'legend' territory.

Having said that if he were to resign after the last game he will never be forgotten in our collective memories.

Key for me is that Stevie's reigns spread over 16 years and included promotions, league positions beyond our wildest dreams, cup runs and successful relegation battles against the all odds... so as much as I love Pulis, he has a way to go yet! Should be manager of the Year WHEN we stay up though, and lets hope we are still talking about him in 16 years!

George Courtney, the World Cup referee, everyone is looking at him. When will he blow....?

Of course he will be a legend. We started the season with 80% of the fans expecting to go straight down again and by the time Holloway left that expectation had risen to about 99.9%

Pulis turned our bunch of ramshackle misfits into a team that others found hard to beat and he will most certainly be a legend in Steve Parish's eyes anyway as keeping us up will have earned the club loadsa dosh

Coppell kept us up against the odds too, on a few occasions. Got us promoted against the odds too, twice!
Pulis though I acknowledge muist even be surprising himself with how well its gone since he came in. Most people thought it would go down to the last game even if we stay up. I think not. I think we will go to Craven Cottage with nothing to play for and the lucky Palace fans that get a ticket will be partying while Fulham cry!

Pulis has a long way to go before he's in the sir Steve category.

Pulis has to come back to manage us multiple times as well

I'm tough. I'm ambitious. I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a bitch, I'm OK with that.

Wouldn't it be lovely to actually be safe against Fulham..

Pulis will have worked a miracle to keep us up (IF he does).

SAtill a long way to go to match Steve Coppell.

If we get 4 points before Fulham, they'll have needed to win all 4 to be able to finish above us.

Cardiff won't be able to catch us. Have to win every game if we get 4 points.

Sunderland might catch someone but if we get the 4 points or more before Fulham, I doubt it. Too many back to back wins needed. It just doesn't happen from their position that often so although they may catch Norwich with their run in, we should do it.

Villa H, Everton A, West Ham A, ManC H, Liverpool H, Fulham A.

I think if we had a striker or 2 we're not that far off being a mid-table side. With Chamakh back and available we'll be able to not have to cobble together a link between midfield and chase-defenders-down-a-lot-but-cant score Jerome.

Historic definitely, legend probably, but beyond Coppell maybe not. Certainly Pulis is on the threshold of doing something no Palace manager has ever achieved, sustaining us following promotion, in the premiership.

Different times and eras. Great achievements are great achievements - the two can easily rest without conflict.

Must be Coppell first and foremost but if Our Tone keeps us up then he will be a very close second.
