Agent talk in my opinion. Team coming up with a potential need for a new goalie. Agent concocts story claiming interest in his client and circulates around press. fans pick up on story and panic that fans favourite is about to leave and applies pressure on board/manager to give player a new deal. Nothing to see here.

It would be disgusting of us to not offer Jules a new contract. Absolutely no reason not to, he's not put a foot wrong this season. What worries me is that Jedi got a new contract mid season, so why not Jules? I think it's kamikaze style to let him go if that's what we do. I'd be massively gutted.

it took me long enough to decide to renew my season ticket and i've been proven wrong with the style of football improving and the performances being generally better, its more enjoyable. However, let him go in a manner in which it looks like they don't give a fcuk, i'm happilly cancelling that ddm for the ticket.

There's a lot of emotion about this.....But really it's quite simple. Palace don't spend millions on a new goalkeeper and then keep him as a back up for multiple seasons. Speroni will be offered a contract as a back up.....He will probably and rightly reject it as he's had an amazing season and won't see out his playing days on the bench. Pulis is looking long term.....I'm afraid you are just going to have to get use to Wayne Hennessey. It would make a lot of sense for any promoted team to grab Speroni......He has won us points this season as apart of a truly effective defence. Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Apr 2014 1.21pm)

Speroni's been a great servant to the club, if Im honest as much as I want him to be at Palace id rather see him playing first team football at another club then being wasted warming our bench
