Really hope Toure is fit for the 27th,
mainly because ive been looking forward
to the 'clash of the titans' for a while,
but secondly I dont want Citeh to whinge
that we beat them without their best player
on the pitch !!

Defending is our skipper better maybe, but Toure is a giant and has everything required to be a star player. Mile has a lot to improve to get near the City maestro whatever any statistics may say. Passing & scoring to mention two areas.

I'm glad you mean Jedi vs Toure in a one off match rather than throughout the season.

Clearly, Toure is the better overall midfielder but I think Jedi can keep him completely quiet if he so wishes. He might be better served on Silva though.

I can imagine those spoilt City fans complaining if they don't take 3 points and one of Toure/Kompany/Silva/Aguero are missing.

Never mind that none of our first choice 11 have anywhere near that amount of quality.

It's embarassing when a team like that can blame injuries for not winning games. Could you imagine having Garcia, Negredo, Lescott, Jovetic, Milner, Jesus Navas on the Palace bench?!!

And that really proves the point that stats don't tell the whole story. Jed's great but he will never be as good a footballer as Toure, it's that simple.

Agreed plane. When they can do a stat for quickness of thought and classiness of pass then maybe I might take notice. Until then i'll go with my own classiness of thought and it tells me Kolo is a better all round player

He was also saying Man City deserved to beat Liverpool, he's a miserable b****** that Pelegrini. He also got the hump when Palace gave them a hard time at the Etihad. f*** him, hope Liverpool win it now.

Exactly, stats are just another tool for managers to assess a player, their fist port of call would be to watch said player, nothing beats that.
