Now I am turning into a bit of a tit like Maxi here but is anybody else a bit nervous about Jonny enjoying his time at Ipswich a bit to much. I mean I cant see how he would improve us and how we could accommodate him next year but I could not bare to see him play in another sides shirt unless he is on loan.

You'll get over it if it happens, which I doubt.

Despite th "nice" sounds being made by TP et al, sadly I don't see him fitting into a TP future at Selhurst.

Taking the bungy jump since 1964. Never to see John Jackson in a shirt again

Sorry to see Lee Hills go, did we ever see Alex Marrow? We did January 2013

Just pray the Tractor boys don't get promoted. Otherwise, expect Joniesta to be in the first team along with many other youngsters in not to far in the future. But at Palace.

The close season may be important in relation to what TP may feel he can do to improve Joniesta as far as build & strength is concerned even though he's not that tall.

Of course I'm not saying he will want to turn him into a Jerome type just build him up a bit to make it less likely he can be knocked off the ball.

Hopefully TP will feel he is an important part of Palace for 2014/15 and the future, after all he's only 20.

I doubt that Joniesta will be in the starting line up if we stay up. I'm praying that Ipswich get promoted, so he can stay there on loan, and learn how to play in this league.

I also doubt that we will see any youngsters on the pitch.

Do you have any idea about football tactics Ade?

Not talking tactics in this case Pikey. More from the heart stuff. I remember the 'team of the 80s', a team full of home produced youngsters. Just hope to see it all again.

We all hope to see it happen fact is. Our academy is not good enough and really only produces one type of player. A raw, tricky winger.

I'd like to see a team like that again too. But the game has changed. Youngsters have to outstanding to make the Premiership. Otherwise they sit on the bench. If they're lucky. Take note Mr Zaha.

And, don't call ma a pikey you imbecile (since we're resorting to insults).

He doesn't fit into a TP future at Selhurst for the same reason Bannan doesn't.

He's too short.

TP's modus operandi........
