Pulis has worked wonders and deserves all the plaudits he gets. But I look at the treatment he got at Stoke, the treatment Curbishley got at Charlton, the treatment Mackay got at Cardiff and worry that clubs often tire of mid table obscurity no matter how much they are punching above their weight.
For me Pulis should be given a job for life.

Maybe not a job for life but certainly a 5 year contract.

Lose 3 games on the bounce, play boring football, hoof ball only win by 1 goal and there will be plenty of Pullis out threads.Wont take long

I do hope we aren't that fickle and remember what he's done.

Let's get consistent mid table obscurity before we tire of it, shall we?

Less than a day after being mathematically safe and winning five games in a row we are asking how long before we are sick of the manager.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

Im a huge Pulis fan, have been before he was at Palace. I'm just commenting on how fickle fans can be and hope we don't make same mistake.

I think its quite easy to obtain mid table obscurity on a regular basis. We are basically at the top of a 10 team league. All the teams below us are extremely mediocre to put it mildly. There are only about 8 decent teams in this league. If you have got a quality manager with nous, which we have, you can stay in this league for as long as you like. It will become a bit mundane which is why Stoke and Charlton fans started to get bored and demanded a change. It paid off for Stoke but not for Charlton.

When were Cardiff in mid-table obscurity?

We are CPFC. We shouldn't have to put up with meaningless, end of season mid-table clashes like yesterday's bore-fest. I appreciate everything Sir Tony of Palace has done, but I think he has taken us as far as he can. Time to bring in someone who can take us to the next level. COYP.
