These types of stories will continue to arise until TP signs a new contract, unfortunately.

Why do you hope he has it wrong? All he has said is that Mike Ashley is an admirer of TP. Personally, I hope he has it right. The more admirer's our manager has, the better we are likely to be doing.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

Pulis is at a club who appreciate him hugely and where he is supported by vociferous, loyal and positive fans. He has just started a project. From what I can gather, he was prepared to manage us in the Championship. Why he would want to go up North to be scorned by the over-expectant Geordies and bossed by that fat t*rd is beyond me? As long as he is supported in the transfer market and paid appropriately for his efforts, I would hope he will stay with us and not sell out like Judas Freedman.

When you become successful in the top division suddenly a new challenge comes along - holding onto players and the manager. Just look at the fight saints will have on their hands this summer.

We have over-achieved and have got lots of press so we need to get used to the fact that the media is more about the prem than anything else and will make up even more stories. Stiff upper lip chaps !

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely

The last paragraph of that article just screams "b0ll0cks".

Pulis doesn't seem like the type to jump ship because a better offer came along. As long as everything is rosey behind the scenes, he ain't going anywhere.

Newcastle are the most deluded club, with the most deluded chairman and supporters in the land. Alright they have big crowds, but that's only because they're the only club in the city. What the feck have they done in the last 50 years ?

I see them as being the same as Preston North End - they used to be good when players used to wear long shorts and the lace on the heavy leather brown ball would leave a scar if you headed it.

....if there was ever a club that needed stability, Newcastle would be it.

Thing with C.Palace is that when everything is going well something always comes along and kicks us in the nuts. Most Lifelong Palace fans must all be expecting something to happen as nothing runs smooth for very long at Selhurst.

But at least if we lose Pulis (most unlikely) we have cover.

Keith Millen not only has experience in a caretaker role, but he has most certainly picked up a lot of good habits by standing next to Tony for most of the season. He came up through our academy and is a local lad.

If bang comes to crunch, we could be in a lot worse situations.
