The Holmesdale webpages and report does CPFC little justice, in my view.
I felt that Man City are the best team I have seen at Selhurst this season...their pace is awesome, their pin point accurate passing to be admired, their finishing, clinical. There was some play acting, too many nudges in the back for my liking, but it's a physical game, and some time wasting (ditto) but class was everywhere.
But what about us?
We had a higher possession percentage than all season, because our passing was better...until the cross into scoring space, where we were snuffed out by good organisation. Outside of two goals, we matched a very good side all the way. What a difference since last October...we played very good football, and I was proud of our team.
And I renewed weeks ago, in anticipation...

Kolorov, Hart, Demichlis, Dzeko, Kompany, where do we stop? They should have been in there fighting, sprinting, tackling hard, everything to take advantage of the Chelski/scouse result. But, no they were fairly laid back and cool. Result, a relatively straight forward win. Very classy and cleverly structured. I only hope TP knows how this is done, as it must be the next step forward for Palace. If TP doesn't have the knowledge and can only provide a good championship side with a few more tricks, then this may be why Stoke 'moved him on'. Hope I'm wrong. But the missing link was obvious today, no matter how well the Eagles played.

I'm sure tp and all of us know how its done, 100s of millions spent, and a free state of the art stadium helps.

Nothing to do with tp not moving stoke on etc etc, only a handfull of teams will ever compete in the pl for the top 6,

Lets be happy with mid table, reap the benefits rebuild the club and not get all taking the next step up, because to be honest reaching top ten in the pl is as good as it gets.

I thought Ince looked good. Murray needs games not 20 mins here and there

I think today we began to understood what Pulis said a couple of days ago that changes had to take place at The Palace. Today I think we saw the significant difference between a team of honest endeavor and a side of some class.I don't think we should be too depressed because its all about money. City have spent a fortune and our expenditure by comparison is little or nothing. I do believe we are beginning too see where we have to make some of these changes but as Pulis said it will take time.I think we have done our very best this season so lets enjoy our future in The Prem and become more determined than ever to do even better next term.

Yup, no idea if he can make it or not at this level but would like to find out.
