I was thinking today, we went on a remarkable run but most of us thought with the run-in of other teams, it was a largely unnecessary win streak (from a saftey point of view).

We got the bonus win at Chelsea and beat rivals Villa at home and I said 100% we were safe. I also saw a lot of Palace fans agreeing with me on here. I genuinely thought we could lose all remaining games after that because the teams below us were just not winning.

However, Pulis carried on his hard-work style and ground another 9 points from 3 games. Without them, we'd now be on 34 points, 2 points above the relegation zone and Sunderland have a game in hand.

Thanks Pulis for not resting on what looked like an impressive point tally for us!

He knows the league and the problems you get into by being complacent. Pulis never got the credit he deserved for what he did at Stoke - he's the ideal manager for a team in our position. Talking of complacency, everybody thought Aston Villa were safe from relegation but if they lose to Hull this weekend and Fulham beat Stoke, I favour Aston Villa to go down.
