They needed to appreciate that the Palace fans’ phenomenal, unconditional, impassioned backing would inspire Bolasie and company

Last night he put on Twitter

#cpfc losing but loud. Some clubs have singing sections. At Palace, every section is a singing section

I like Henry

Again at one point last night the whole, and I mean whole ground was just bouncing and the noise was phenomenal..about the only people sitting were the subs bench and Willo

Thats what I love about our club - we do have seem to have developed this 'unconditional' support from somewhere

I hope thats stays and we dont attract those with expectations and unrealistic ones at that...that just leads to moaning and groaning and the dilution of the passion and noise.

I dont want to be West Ham, booing even when they win because of a misguided belief in their team and its position in life

I dont want to be Arsenal, complaining about the noise in the away end when they play us with each goal being accompanied by polite clapping

I dont want to be Man Utd, a stadium full of day trippers who dont distinguish between a day at Old Trafford and a Day at Madame Tussauds

I dont want to be Chelsea who employ staff to wave flags and try to shake their now middle class support from its middle class expectaion and middle class apathy..

I have serious man love for this club at the moment

I was watching NBC coverage and they had Lee Dixon commentating, creaming himself at half-time about Liverpool and when winning 3-0. Couldn't bring himself to praise CP at anytime even after the game. Big Club Charlie!

The seeds have always been there in our time Sash. Remember the 5,000-8000 crowds? We were still as noisy as fvck in the AW and those were the days we literally had nothing really to shout about.

And the away support has always always been generally magnificent from way back before then even.

Those seeds have now fully germinated with another 15,000 on board at Selhurst.

A memorable season indeed.

True Kerms - although we still did have a moan an groan - well I did anyway - mainly at Gary Stebbing or when Carlisle turned us over at home with about 25 in the ground (well it seemed like it at the time)

It's in cpfc dna - good vocal support. Strangely enough the one season we were a bit too quiet was 79/80 when we averaged nearly 30,000 and Venables was not shy about having a pop about that if you can remember.

Maybe we had been spoilt with Kenny, Jerry and Vince, etc, and took it all for granted.

There won't be any 'diluting' of the noisy support IMO because:

a) it starts from the Holmesdale and all the ST's are taken up year after year.

b) until the main stand and WH Lane are rebuilt there aren't enough tickets available for that to happen. When they're being rebuilt there'll be less for 1 season for each stand.

c) most of the noise comes from the Holmesdale and Arfur. These are a decade away at least from being rebuilt.

Beautiful play.

But of course it's only because the defence cocked up. If the shirts were reversed it would be about the f***ing SaS *vomits*

Hope so...I love the rickety old s*** bin of a stand and my Grandad was one of the brickies who built the thing

Apparantley not - a pumped, long ball according to Robbie Fowler...and as Seth has said elsewhere totally ignoring the fact that Steve Gerrard, GerraRd, (as he will now be known to all in SE25) was hitting 50 yards balls for most of the game

The defining moment for me after almost 80 minutes of biased Paul Walsh commentary was Delaney’s goal. The goal silenced Walsh in mid sentence “To be honest, Liverpool look like they could end up with 6 goals here ton…..” I don’t think he uttered 2 words after our 3rd goal! Brilliant!

After getting back from the game I watched it back twice (I'm sad I know)...

Still can't get over how they induldge the Scouse fans at their home games...always showing their fans with the flags and all singing that s***e song "YNWA" (absolute dire footy anthem in my opinion) after the Barclays Prem league music...

Cut to Selhurst, where fans put on their own funded and handcarfted display which gets about 2 seconds camera time versus what seemed like hours of camera time on the away fans with random crappy flags and scarves.

I understand the commentary around the title race, but to show their fans over ours when there was a huge display is frankly bollocks.

Anyone saying there is not a big team bias in the media is obviously deluded.
