Yes they do, but it was a long time ago, in the late 50s early 60s, they were one of the top sides, and were taking on and beating the top European sides like Honved that included most of the Hungarian players that ripped England apart at Wembley, it was this that sowed the seeds for the European Cup, and it was they that was one of the first British teams to take part in the European Cup.

But since the glory days of Stan Cullis, and Billy Wright.

So yes they are steeped in history, but the present and the future has not been or will not be so kind.

They won the League and FA Cup a few times.
But then is then and now is now !

And of course Geoff Thomas played for them !

Wolves have a very good and proud history for which their supporters will be happy to recall. But recall is all they can do. On the contrary, Palace have a much more successful future than these has-beens. Is Biily Wright still playing? Are Wolves still terrorising Europe? As Clarkson may have said , They are in the black country, no place for them in the modern world, unlike Palace.

History makes you, what you are today. Ask him what division his team is currently in.

And Johnny Humphrey and Dougie Freedman.

Yes, they were good. And they still get 21k support on average.

Back in the day they had the wonderful Derek Dougan.

But hey, we are a club reborn and they are living on past glories. Who gives.

Corinthian Casuals and the Royal Engineers have won more than we have but, like Wolves, are history.

Fact is Wolves do have a bigger History than us, the record books show that, it may have been in the past, but that is what History is, "the past".
