Happy days. Well, some of them.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

As much as what was aimed at uncle Ron for what he didn't do many forget about the hell of a lot that he did.

A tribute to uncle Ron ?

Personally, not for me.
He got lucky. and got SC,...because he was cheap. He then broke up the best team in Palace history to finance his golf clubs.

Perhaps a poll would be good to gauge opinion ?

Interesting for what it doesn't mention: separating club from ground, siphoning money off for golf clubs etc etc.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

His 'reorganisation' of the 80's now being recognised by the Football League as going into Administration.

The crowd is outstanding, and especially with the penalty after 44 minutes it was clear when we came out after half-time the welcome would be pretty loud and not too friendly. Crystal Palace wanted to strike back, so that was all clear. This is a wonderful place to play football - Jurgen Klopp

I know. Let's debate this subject.

Thank's for that,ouzo.

Blimey had to many fall out's with him in times gone by,even last season .
When questioning him about his appearance at the club he informed me S.P was round his house re the take over.
One thing though I can and did thank him for was getting a sunday league game postponed,
The semi at Villa,dreams.
RIP Ron.

Those memories have given me a lump in my throat. Uncle Ron left Palace in much better shape than when he bought us and also gave us some fantastic times and great lifelong memories.I remember when we were in the 1st Division and finished 3rd walking towards Selhurst thinking we'd win today irrespective of who we were playing that day.Not everyone's cup of tea and that's fine (I was always a fan) but no-one can argue about his acheivements. RIP Ron, and thanks for the memories.
