Perranporth beach. Fantastic bar/restaurant right on the beach. My mate has a 2 bed apptment 5 minutes walk from that beach at mate's rates!

I was born in Truro. I've been back a few times to visit, as an adult. Bloody A303 / A30 is a ridiculous road in the Summer, full of caravans and nutters trying to overtake them. When you get there, it's bootiful, but you have to allow for the time difference by turning your watch back 50 years. Cornwall, the sort of place where you have one shop in the village, which is closed on Sunday and also adheres to half-day closing on a Wednesday.

orrible place, banjos, webbed feet & middle class twonks from london...devon is a much nicer place much nicer people, especially ones who moved up to south london when they were a kid!

Love the place. I just want to go and high six all the locals when I am down there.. Love(d) the area around Padstow, Rock, Daymar Bay especially - memories from being a little un as much as anything - although lots of f***ing hoorays from Chelsea down that part these days.

Make sure you go when the tide is either out or ideally on its way out. Half of it's inaccessible when the tide's in, but when it's going out you can go through the rocks into the other half.
