Fantastic city. Love it. Leeds is great, too.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Been four times and found it predictably grim but only saw right in the centre and around Moss Side and Levenshulme.

Liverpool was better.

Always enjoy going to Mancunia. Never been to the Grenada studios. I understand it is well worth a visit.

Save your money and your time mate. There isn't a lot worth visiting north of London. People will go on about the atmosphere of the place and the friendliness of the people but it’s just crap. I just spent the bank holiday in Ghent, Belgium, bloody amazing and would highly recommend.

"Quite nice" - whacyoutalkin'bout Tom? Reigate is quite nice. Scotland is immensely bloody beautiful if you just avoid the Neds and estates and Glasgow and those Loyalist terror guys living in Ayr now

Yes, quite nice is about right. One or two okay football teams as well, if you like that sort of thing. The best of them is probably Rochdale.
