These places have these rules for a clear, and now very obvious reason. If you don't respect the nature of the animal you are going to view then I don't have much sympathy when this kind of thing happens. Just hope the animal doesn't get put down as it's done nothing wrong.

It shouldn't even be in question. If they'd got out and walked in front of a hippo/elephant there'd be no talk of putting them down.

We, as a species, are better off without people who actually do such stupid things. They shouldn't be putting it down, they should be giving it extra rations. That person could have bred.
