Would snatch Austin over Gayle all day.

Sell Gayle, Campbell and Marriappa with £6 - £7 million cash = good deal

Austin is well overhyped and Remy is not.

Only one is worth £15mill. The other I'd rather we didn't sign as we already have a striker called Glenn who is just as good.

Is the right answer Kermit.

Remy all day for me,and as you say I don't thinl Austin offers anymore than Muzza does.

always a Norwood boy, where ever I live.

Austin is a proper palace striker. He will fight for his place and have that team spirt all are players are blessed with. If he has another cracking season he could be a full time England national and then his sell on value would increase dramatically compared to an ageing Remy. While Remy is the better player, he is older, he hasn't got the same fight Austin has and is not English which is huge for me personally. I also must admit the only difference between Murray and Austin is the age gap and a little bit of pace. Austin has potential, Murray doesn't.

I would sell Gayle for £6m+. Sell Gourdioura, Campbell, Williams and McCarthy then use the money to invest in Austin.

Our strikers would then be Austin, Murray, Chamahk and Appiah.

Remy all day for me he is the complete package for that kind of money. If not Remy then Rhodes is a better option for me.
Austin is just a slightly younger version of Muzza but with far less experience.

Curly eagles dad, 45 years of Palace. Never ever a dull moment, Oh Happy Days

That'll be the 'out for nine months injured never scored above league 2' Appiah?

I know it was only one game but I didn't see any fighting spirit in Austin when they played us.

I'd prefer Remy.

Austin's strike rate 18/36 is way better than Remy's 9/29 and with far less support.

All of Austins appearances were starts and he nearly always played the 90 mins , the majority of remys were from the bench and only for 15-20 mins , remy has a superior goals to minutes ratio which is the fairest way to judge them , I would be happy with either , but remy is the superior player.

Remy all day - hands down - 8 million dearer - 6 games with Chelsea for 7 goals - with other strikers competing.. Two levels above Austin. Pure class.
