A throw away comment on the Borini thread got me wondering this morning. Do you think that players agents, and more worryingly bookmakers actually sign up to club forums and start all these rumours for their own financial gain. Or am I just being overly cynical. Food for thought though.

Food for thought though. Possibly as we don't really know whether there was any truth in the Scott Dann to Everton rumours that had a very high profile for a while. The Everton manager went on record last week complaining about the rumours surrounding one of his own players saying that it was wrong to try and destabilize his players so he's either a grade one hypocrite or else there was no truth in the Scott Dann stories at all and they were just a figment of Dann's agent's imagination in order to win him a better deal here

Agents do not need to sign up to football forums to start rumours, They give the reporter at the D.Mirror a fiver and he will put it in the paper.

Ha ha ! I seem to remember Norbert joining the forum the summer of the first season back in the prem and was a suggestion of the kind of new fan we might attract. Point well and truly proved I believe.
