Fvck me. Is it December already? Could've sworn it was October.

Now what is it that has ruined Christmas again?

£1200

Save £100 a month and then blow it all at Christmas. Food, drinks and presents.

Have been doing this for years now as can't stand going overdrawn in December through to April.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

It won't cost me much.

The Mrs and me made a pact to stop wasting money on unwanted presents at over-inflated prices years ago.

We have no children.

We've stopped sending cards to casual acquaintances you hear from once a year.

My sister has invited us over for Xmas. So it will cost us for the car travel and our share of the food/drink.

We will enjoy the day as usual, but not waste hundreds/thousands of pounds unnecessarily.

When they say they do not want presents they do not really mean it. My Wife says the same thing every year i dont really want/need anything, Then spends a month hinting at what she wants.
