I'm no prude by any shake of the imagination but the fine was about right for the offence. My bug bear is the amount they have to pay back a fortnight. Give them both a weeks unpaid work to do seeing they are unemployed, instead of making them pay off the fine at a miserly rate.....

I presume as they were unemployed with 2 kids they didn't have any money to actually buy anything so entertained themselves another way.
