So he buys a car, drives fast & crashes - and it's the manufacturers fault?

That could open the floodgates for anyone who crashes in any car

Trivial fact - Palace used to win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season?

I had a crash the other week

I am going to sue Paul Walkers estate because having watch the quick and mildly annoyed I though I could drive like a complete c*** and have no regard for anyone's safety

the dignified don't even enter in the game

It all depends I guess on whether they can show that a fault in design, construction or otherwise of the manufacturer was responsible for the crash.

He was a passenger but the lawsuit is stupid, as is the one from the daughter and the driver's widow.

Optimistic as ever

I think from one of the lawsuits filed (by the daughter if I'm not mistaken) that they contested the speed at which the crash happened i.e. it was much slower than reported and the car shouldn't have broken up in the way it did.

That said, I agree with the sentiment don't drive like an idiot and you have less chance of dying.

I feel sorry for all affected by this incident but this is once again Americans being Americans (Lawyers in the main) imo.
Porshe have been building super-cars forever. They are designed to cope with the extremes of performance from the tyres up, be-it on the road or track use. I honestly doubt they'd be so popular if they had any safety issues?

An unfortunate incident in my book.

Time to move forward together.
