Of course, the point here is to drink moderately - bingeing on five pints on a Saturday night will have the adverse effect. Call that bingeing, that's just for the train on the way to the game!!

Someone tried to convince me once that the work the body did warming up an ice cold beer was equal to the calorific content of that beer. It took me some time and a definite paunch to disprove that theory.
