Anyone see this 12 second ko victory for McGregor? Pretty epic way to beat an undefeated world champion. Wasn't a fan of McGregor's going into this fight but feel that he has been graceful in victory.

It's not huge. Would help if there were some big UFC events over here or they did a better job of promoting the English fighters and building their profiles (positively). The only major one that springs to mind is Michael Bisping and he's a t***.

Yeah agree with you on that, apart from Bisping and the other English guy Ross something, I can't think of any English fighters.

McGregor has single handedly managed to make the UFC a lot better known in recent months though. People who would never dream of having watched it, or had never even heard of it, will have watched it on Sunday morning.

As much as I love boxing I think MMA and the UFC in particular is only going to get bigger and leave boxing behind unfortunately.

Love UFC. That's the second high-profile blockbuster in a month which can only help. Holly Holm's dismantling of Ronda was sensational, too. Good as McGregor was (and by the way, that was about 2 inches from being a double knockout), Weidman-Rockhold was a better fight. Absolutely epic performance from Luke...Weidmann took a serious beating. Once Connor fills Croke next year UFC won't be low-profile in Britain for long. Love boxing too, but man the sport could learn something from certain aspects of UFC.
