In the Observer today that Palace are'leading the way' for this guy. This is some wiki info on him Only another week to go!

Seems to have done pretty well in the Eredivisie. Can't fond much out about his fit for us but Premieship is still a step up. Not much of a risk though at a few million and could well turn out to be excellent. Question is how many will he put away given one decent cross and maybe three sh!te ones in a match? He wasn't as prolific at Auxerre.

We need competition and an alternative to Wickham up front, this guy looks the right size (6ft2) and style to fit the bill. Certainly a risk but £7m is not a big fee for a 21 year old nowadays. 7 goals in 12 for France U21 is impressive. As chateauferret points out, main concern is the significant step up from Eredivisie to the Premier League. Our top division is a lot more demanding than leagues like Holland or France. It'll probably turn out to be another load of b*ll*cks rumour anyway!

I once signed him for palace on championship manager. He scored a lot of goals but upset the squad when he handed in a transfer request. Whether he's good in real life, who knows!

I see this guy regularly playing in the Dutch league (albeit on Telly) and have some serious doubts. A physical presence yes, but slow in his movement and needing his chances. Rumours here are that Utrecht want about 10m Euros, about 7.5 m for him. While in premier league terms that might not be really expensive I very much doubt if he would cut it. For that money you are well on your way getting getting Jordan Rhodes, or even better Ross McCormack in and I'm pretty sure they would do better.
