It seems to be just a post on Twitter at the moment, but anyway, he doesn't seem to have been doing much 'firing' at Bournemouth recently.

From what I understand, he has been struggling to adapt his game to the game Bournemouth play/Howe wants from him hence his lack of games and goals. Logical move to go back to his local club. Sadly, he could really help their promo push, he's still a good striker. I hope not though.

I'm a little bit surprised at this. Hopefully, nothing good happens and the rest of the Championship top six prevent them from getting anywhere near automatic promotion.
