Just goes to show how the Muslim community protect their own despite their "outrage" at murders carried out by Islamic fundamentalists This fella has been hiding for months - he must have had help from the wider Muslim community. I expect the usual apologists to deny this though. And you wonder why Trump doesn't trust Muslims and talks of banning them? It probably hits a raw nerve with him as it does with me looking back to 2001 and the Arabs rejoicing at the events in NY with the planes crashing into the Twin Towers..... sadly not much has changed since then.

You could be correct but that's a massive leap in logic. When the Iraqis invaded Kuwait I had a dozen expats living in hiding, mostly inside air conditioning conduits. They stayed there for months. The 'wider community' in that case was one or two friendly locals looking after each person. It doesn't take much help to keep someone in hiding.

The wider muslim community will not give up their own as they see it as betraying their religion no matter what atrocities they have been involved in. If you keep making excuses for them and don't take them to task, Muslims will put their religion ahead of our safety.

I don't suppose we will ever know but it would be good to know why people were hiding him. Did they agree with him or were they too scared to inform against him?
