Good for you, Dennis! A man of principle at the very least.

I loathe the Tory high command and all that they stand for but it is a touch disturbing how the tyranny of the masses seems to reign these days. If it's not illegal, then what rally is the issue? Maybe I'm missing something, I hardly ever defend Tory's, but calls from Labour for resignations can only destabilise the country, and on what real basis? To be honest, I was surprised it was just the 30k.

What a stupid thing to say in the chamber you would think Skinner would have more sense that to come out with that....Hence he got the boot today!!

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

But then again he does symbolise the anti-establishment line with his background so I guess if anyone were to do that, it would be Skinner.

There are about a million ongoing petitions to parliament from bitter lefties on various different issues. One is to hold a general election this year as a result of the 'scandal'. The irony is Cameron outlawed bearer shares, considerably reducing the scope of the tactics employed via Mossack Fonseca. Some of the more rational people have reduced their complaints to those of morality and deceit upon getting the narrow minds round the legality.

Even as a labour voter I've absolutely no doubt there will be plenty of labour mp's hoping and praying that their tax affairs aren't going to come under scrutiny.

It's widespread. The whole tax avoidance thing needs sorting. Don't think it's a party political thing at all.

Skinner's silly behavior also meant that his important question about the PM's finances, and the benefits of the PM's free housing, went unanswered.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

I'd like to see the PM's and the chancellor of the exchequer's, as well as their shadow counterparts' tax returns for the last several years.

Get it all out in the open.

Actually, the petition you're talking about is nothing to do with this situation but instead is entirely about all the other lies the Tories have told. These include the forced privatisation of both the education and health sectors, enforcing new contracts on junior doctors, creating a real pay cut to public sector workers salaries and pensions etc. None of which were mentioned in their manifesto.

It seems a fairly reasonable thing to want a reelection about really.

I presume that you heard the full speech that Skinner gave. I personally blame Bercow who as Speaker ROUTINELY allows Dodgy Dave NOT to answer questions put before him by The Opposition. Skinner speaks on behalf of MANY voters by way of his exasperation at the smoke & mirrors attitude of Conservative politics and how we don't get a straight answer.
