Shocking case from start to finish. I cant even begin to describe how much I hate this kid. Infact, is it him I hate or the legal system that accepted the argument? Or is it his mother for her complete failings as a parent/human being? At least he'll now spend some time in jail, should have got longer to begin with.

At least he'll now spend some time in jail, should have got longer to begin with. i don't think they bought his argument. he lost the case. mom is a nutter - clearly. kid seems like a POS. any way you slice it, DUI and killing 4 people should get much longer. that pistorius clown seems a more ridiculous sentence though. guy basically got 6 months for murdering that girl. sad all the way around.

Not quite, he's getting re-sentenced in 4 days. Could be 15 years less time spent already.
