Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Boo hoo! I'm in tears! I grew up with his work!! I feel suicidal and all that f**k**g cr@p.

Seriously I'd loved to have met this guy and nutted him for having to read his over dramatic cr@p in my school days.

Funny post dude, seems to me we can't have a day go by without an outpouring of mentally deranged grief for someone we don't know.

My wife and I once went to see "Henry VI Part 3" at the Courtyard Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon' before going to the 'Black Swan' pub just down the road.

Can't stand him never got why his work dominates the curriculum, put me off taking English further than A Level.

Pretty much lived in Stratford as a teenager, went to college there, and spent many a drunken night trying to find a non-s***e bar. Nice town though, just Shakespeare overload if you're a local and indifferent to his work.

Sad to hear he's died though, not sure what the town of Stratford will do for their tourism now.
