I am really looking forward to the next few weeks chatting to all the new members of the HOL that joined when tickets went on sale. I reckon the membership must've shot up. I am open minded to them all being genuine Palace fans that will continue to contribute and not making any assumptions on how genuine they are.

So welcome new members, look forward to chatting to you all.

Just wait til we win the Cup - there will be even more of them then..... but welcome anyway, it's what keeps these boards alive

I'm a bit suspicious of that new poster Amen Homes tbh. Says he's a Palace Christian but then keeps asking for a ticket preferably near a stanchion so his pigeons can roost.

I am suspicious of a few new posters, but not as suspicious as I am about ones who have been here since I joined (albeit that was only 3 or 4 years ago!).

Hope to be proved wrong though and look forward to some new opinions on here.

Lots of new opinions on here already PTJ

After prolonged and reasoned debate, many posters change their minds on our threads.

Agreed. Not taking the mickey or being sarcastic, I actually go to this site for opinions on a lot of things. Read a lot of enlightening things which have sometimes changed my mind and sometimes re-enforced my opinions.

Can't hurt to see a few more new names on the forum though!

I for one have no intention of being cordial to new faces

They come over here, onto our site - OUR SITE! - with their 'support' and posts and jokes and 'points of view'

I'm Paul Nuttalls of UKIPS and I say we need to ensure the brightest and best non HOLers stay on their own wesbite and concentrate on increasing their own hits

As long as they help me get my bongo story into the best sellers list then I'm all for them. I imagine that E.L.James started off on a football forum talking about knickers.

The amount we have discussed yours over the last few months, I must be ready for a best seller then

I have actually started to move away from the dross and some of the cretins on Facebook and now use forums more to chat and discuss stuff. HOL for footie and a bit of banter. Other forums like netmums for more family orientated or homemaking things. So I will stick around if that's ok

We seemed to pick up one or two new members in May/June 2013. Lifelong Palace fans, obviously.

New people? Booooo! New people suck.

Not really. I was thinking earlier how nice it was on here that there wasn't moaning about how s*** we are. Also, the great news is, as a worst case scenario, we can only lose one game in the next 3 months or so.
