Very likely to be leaving Liverpool imminently- very similar player to Delaney (brave, very good in the air, gets goals) but better on the ball. He's 31, tonnes of PL experience- if we were getting him on a free I think he could be exactly what we're looking for

I'm from Slovakia and I can say that's impossible. He will leave Liverpool for sure and he should go to Besiktas where he will play Champions League. Martin played way better for a national team than in Liverpool shirt this season. Alongside Marek Hamsik is a true leader.

Skrtl (funny spelling, no vowels) has a (losing) history with Palace - he might like to come to play in front of the Holmesdalers? Would not mind him along Scott D, even though he has a knack of scoring own goals. Loads of experience...

I don't know about Slovakian, but in Czech, r and the l are vowels. The r is made by voicing a rolled r, it sounds like my cat when she's hungry. l is like aw in thaw with the tip of your tongue on your palate. Š is pronounced like sh in sh!te. Seemingly Wikipedia is spelling it Škrtel, I didn't think there was an e in it. Certainly there wouldn't need to be in Czech, l on its own is a vowel there, but there may be in Slovakian.

Am I alone in thinking that he gives away more decisions / goals / pens etc than Damo? I can't see how we'd be improved by swapping one for the other.
