I agree. It's well known I've been a big critic of Parish's handling of FOOTBALL MATTERS but now we have 2 knowledgeable people who can hopefully work in harmony and unison before Parish's pen strokes the chequebook, there shouldn't be too much to get irate about before it even happens.

There is a squad quantity issue ATM but tbf we've just recently got a bit unlucky with injuries on top of the expected number of injuries imo.

Yep. His agents are both related to him - one demanded a 'selling' fee from Everton & the other a 'buying' one from us, both were told to go away.

At the end of the day, we can all spout opinions, stats etc but what actually matters is whether the staff/management at the club see the player in question as fitting in to our set up/way of playing/squad etc. This is especially relevant when talking about similar players costing similar amounts.

FWIW, a couple of WHU fans I know reckon he lost it with Bilic some time ago & that's where the problems started. Allegedly, he and a few others were being left out or played out of position to pander to Payet & what he wanted. No idea if there's any truth in it but the timing all fits as does the slide in WHU's form
