I'm so glad if this deal is off & he is not what we need & a waste of money at the £10m quoted!

We certainly need at least another striker but there must be better options abroad who are not injury prone with a better attitude & would be less expensive.

We are 13 days into the transfer window & I can't believe we still haven't purchased at least a few players yet!Surely we should of started talks with clubs in December so we could get players in early with our squad so threatbare with injuries & having a weak squad with so much at stake keeping our Prem status!

The trouble is that we have known since the last window closed that we needed a striker and at least a goalkeeper and since the injury to Sakho and Dann a quality defender so its not unreasonable to have expected a little more progress at this stage rather than waiting to the last minute, we need player now!

Crystal Palace have now actually made a move for Sakho, although he is apparently reluctant to move there and wants to keep his options open. Of course no medicals (as sky etc) reported last week have taken place at this point as move has only just happened ⚒

Nobody wants this guy. His own club has him as 5th chice.

I find it odd that he'd be reluctant to come to a club on the same points as West Ham who have only one fit striker and who he would undoubtedly play regularly for (barring injury)...unless he wants to move away from England.

If he is looking for a bigger club then let's move on as he is clearly delusional.

I suspect that he still wants to go to France but that French clubs are either unwilling or unable to meet his wage demands or the transfer fee.

A shame as he looks a decent player. When fit.
