I also think that it's time I gave up all this political shenanigans and opt for a stress free existence walking my dog, catching up with books I wanted to read, watch films and box sets on the Firestick, watch Le Tour, Wimbledon and Olympics. I'm 62 so not really that old, but I need to do a bit more exercise than I do and await a visit from a specialist physio who will recommend specific routines to help my Parkinson's condition. Anyone that wants to keep in touch, send me a PM with your email address on - I have got quite a few contacts/proper friends from my time on the Hol. You know who you are guys. I know I've made a few of you laugh, and I also know I've annoyed/frustrated quite a lot of you too since I first arrived in May 2004 as chollis, then Uncle Focker and finally Hoof.... I have been a cantankerous focker By the way this is not a late bid for "Most Spectacular Flounce" on the 2016 Awards.... BTW jamie when will the results be published? I had a vote as "Poster of the Year" for the first time ever! Cheerio... or more accurately.... Laters Hoof PS - I'm sure the meter below sums up most of your reaction to this "news".....LOL I enjoy reading your posts, and you will be missed.

You'll probably have much more fun walking the dogs, exercising and being with nature as well. Enjoy

I remember 'chollis', had no idea that was you! I am so sorry to hear about the difficulties you are experiencing with your health and hope they do not overly affect the quality of your everyday life. While you may not feel as able to contribute to the HOL as much as you would like, I'm sure you will find many other enjoyable and fulfilling interests to occupy your time. It actually sounds like you've got a few things lined up already, and you might find a break will do you a lot of good. Keep well and get as much sun and fresh air as you can while the summer is still here!

I'm OK with words. It's just that sometimes the right ones don't arrive on time. So I'm a bit stuck at the moment. It's not the first time you've posted about PD, but it is the first time (as I recall) that you've had to amend your routine to exist with smaller doses of HOL. And you are the only 'friend' I have on here - I thank you for that and appreciate it. So make the most of whatever makes life that bit easier, and remember, you have a friend in Harpo. We all look forward to your mastery of voice recognition software and/or your young P.A.

Really will miss you Hoof. I'm a relative newcomer to this site and probably of a different generation but I have enjoyed interacting with you on here and enjoyed reading your posts. All the best sir. I hope we hear from you now and then.
